Disappointed by the lack of disciplined thought leaders in modern American culture, it became clear that we needed a better attempt at feminism. Not one that's monetized and weaponized to defend anger and entitlement. Americans live in a society that permits the widest creativity, but has prostituted the opportunity for sophisticated culture for an illusion of personal empire. This blog is a space to explore the greats (for better or worse) of history pre-1920--which is my arbitrary marker to distinguish then from "now"...which is the post-apocalyptic age after the Information Age killed us with its lack of discipline, discretion, and rigor--and let's pick up where the greats left off and see if we can shape a better attempt at feminism.
